i have been wonderin for a while...it seems like every cleansing product from soaps, to air fresheners, to body washes, and many other things are selling the fact that they're antibacterial...and i wonder if by eliminating every single germ around you makes you more suseptible to gettin sick....i know it has been proven that over prescriptions of antibiotics have caused germs to mutate to specimens that are immune to our antibiotics, and some mouthwashes (listerine) are so potent, that they actually kill good germs too...so wouldn't it only make sense that perhaps our paranoia w/ germs has caused us more harm than good?

I personally hate being dirty......I am constantly washing my hands and face. I think it's the fact that American's have a fear of germs due to all these diseases that people have been dying from lately like meningitis and the recent cases of TB.

People think of "germs" as bad things....even the good germs are thought of as bad, since they're called germs.....oh well, people gotta make money some how.....

well, my friend uses this anti-bacterial instant hand cleaner constantly, the skin on her hands became red and the skin started to eat away underneath her nails. She went to the doctors and they said that she uses the cleaner too often so it started to eat away at her skin. So too much of that shit could possible harm you. You could use that stuff, but don't go over board where you're OCD, like she was.

your body and everything else has good germs and bad germs...and the good protect you from the bad, kind of like white blood cells....say you get a cut, and let it heal w/o washing it, then you wash it a couple hours later it's gonna start bleedin again cause in the process of washing away the harmful bacteria(germs), you also wash away the ones holdin the cut together....kind of shitty example, but you catch my drift
