Is everyones Under the Influence CD Kinda crappy quality or is it just mine? Mine sounds like a bootleg and the volume is all low. I bought it at a reputable store, is it possible for the recording to be all fucked up just on one CD?

The quality ain't bad. It's just that the studio sound ain't the same cuz QUIK is on an independent label now. This album is a banger! I've been bumping since the 1st day it came out. QUIK is certified in my book cuz he has dropped 5 top notch albums: QUIK IS THE NAME, WAY TO FONKY, SAFE & SOUND, RYTHMALISM, & now UNDER THE INFLUENCE. He's up there wit CUBE now.

So the S.Q. is different on this one? I played Balance and Options and then the new one right after and there was a major difference. It was most noticeable on the first song.

Also this CD is so damn tight, I cant believe some of y'all arent feeling it!?

QUIK IS SIGNED TO UNIVERSAL A MAJOR LABEL NOT AN INDIE/
Are you trying to correct what's right? QUIK is on BUNGALO RECORDS(INDY!!!) with distribution by UNIVERSAL just like CASH MONEY(INDY) with distribution by UNIVERSAL. Don't get it twisted.

Yall musta got rotten discs, cuz mine is cleaner than any of his previous releases.

And just cuz he's not on Arista anymore doesn't mean he uses different studios.

Hey cuzzin, I'm talkin' about sound quality. When you invest your own money into studio within your own budget things do change unless you sittin' on master p type scratch.

Do the vocals sound bad or just the bass? I put it in after listening to Komain's album and the first thing I noticed was a big difference in the bass... It's really warm and sounds kinda soft up to the song with Dre (that's as far as I got into the CD) and even that sounds a little soft, but if you listen to the vocals, snares and other parts of the songs it sounds like the quality is ok...
