im one of the biggest niner fans on this board but what nathan vasher just did was fucking tight...catching a ball in the wind and then running 108 yards for a touchdown was amazing, even if it was against my team

ya that shit was tight as fuck, stupid as niners they could have easily got him down there. I give him props for that return but just wish it was against a different team.

I wouldn’t say their horrible at all. They have arguably the best defense in the league and they have great running backs. Remember, they have a rookie QB and if you judge the bears passing game by this one game you’re foolish (they were playing in damn near hurricane conditions and both teams were forced to stick to the ground game). I'd say they're doing pretty damn good.

^^yeah, this will be the first real test for the Bears. I think their D should hold Carolinas offense to a low scoring game. It all depends on how well da bears offense performs. If they establish a good running game and control the ball, Bears win. If not, they will lose. Should be a close game.

On a side note it will be interesting to see how Musin Mohammad performs against his former team.

Oh yeah, I WILL be at Soldier field to watch the Bears/Falcons game in Dec! It's going to be cold but I got tickets right on the 50 yardline, directly behind da bears sideline! It's the night game and nationally televised, so look out for a guy in a Ski Mask looking like a terrorist with an Urlacher jersey!

Wow, an impressive win for Chicago. I hope this finally rids any doubt that the Bears are just a mediocre team in a shitty division.

Carolina has scored an average of 28 points in their last 6 games but today were held to just 3 points. The victory leaves da bears all alone at the top of the NFC North at 7-3. They completely dominated this game, once again by their Defense. Vasher, the same player who returned the 108 yard field goal return, picked off Delhomme twice and the rest of the D racked up an unheard of 8 sacks.

Muhsin Muhammad also had a big game against his former team with 6 receptions and scored the games only touchdown.

Bears. Playoffs.

Grossman is back so that adds depth at the QB spot as things start to get tight we got Pittsburgh Atlanta and Tampa all coming up, mixed in with 3 games against NFC north teams. Not an easy road ahead but I like the way things look. Orton should have had a much better day. There were a lot of dropped passes that should have been caught. Peterson has a bit more speed than Jones and is a great add to the mix. You cant say enough about their D though, Brentson Buckner said it was the best D he has seen in the NFL in his 12 seasons. The Miller/Kreutz fight seems to have helped the O-line, Miller gave up 2 tackles to Peppers and you rarely saw Peppers come anywhere close to Orton. Tampa this week is another big test, I believe they have the second or 3rd ranked D.
