    Creedence Clearwater?

Saw them there last year & it was a good show. I wasn't sure with the "revisited" lineup, but I got free tickets & it was well worth the trip. I think Fogerty will be there this weekend too.

    Female lead bands...

I've always liked Morcheeba; specifically the "Who Can You Trust?" album, but that's far from new. It's some laid back shit, though. I'd listen to that cd first before moving on to their other stuff, especially their most current release "The Antidote," which has a new lead vocalist (also...

    reggae

His first album with Too Rude (self titled) was actually pretty decent. Can't say the same for their second release "Re-Invention." Is Dogboy on some solo shit now? I'll check it out if he's back on the reggae vibe.

    the dave mathew band

He's alright Dave puts on a dope live show. However, he is a bit of a whiny little cunt. I can only tolerate his music in small doses.

    Willie Nelson - Country man

Interesting in what kind of way? Off hand, I'd say it sounds like a shitty pairing (Willie & reggae), but give us your opinion on it.

    punk rock

I'm not up to date on the history/styles of punk, but I saw a cool local band in Sac a few years ago. Check out www.redtapearmy.com They've got a new cd out, but it doesn't sound as good as their original demo "High Revoltage." Are there any other Sac/Bay local acts worth looking into?

I just saw Tom Petty and the Black Crows

Couldn't agree with you more. I went to a Petty show several years back at Arco and loved it. I was never a big Petty fan, but my roomate at the time convinced me to go, and I've been a fan ever since.
