I never said Floyd ducked Cotto or Mosley. I only said I thought it was weak he went on a two year hiatus when Cotto, Margarito, Williams were at their peaks.

And thanks for posting Floyd's resume it only furthers my argument even more. Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Leonard, Benitez. NO ONE comes even remotely close to the skill level of those guys. Floyd is a GREAT fighter but cmon man, be real and honest with yourself. You think if Floyd fought those five guys he wouldn't catch an L? Smdh

B @bigface So are you saying promoters of then, or if Floyd stayed with Top Rank even, would have allowed Floyd to wait for so long for him to fight mosley, cotto, or margarito? Probably not. So anyone can say Floyd is not the best in any era

So all the guys you listed was only elite fighters from 2007-2009. Lol.. Mayweather beat Mosley, Cotto, Marquez, and now Canelo since coming back 2009. That three future hall of famers and a 23yr old undefeated fighter that was 165lb on fight night. Yep Mayweather is not even all that good.

What about great over bum Margarito's career Mosley KO's u and u get caught cheating, Manny beats the shit out of you, and Cotto ends your career. Plus all your old punching power disappears after Nazim caught your dirty hand wraps.

What about Manny's career ducked Mayweather and random testing, beat Cotto great win, scary ass Clottey, beat shot to shit Mosley after Mayweather took his soul, beat shot to shit Margarito after Mosley Ko'ed, got a gift against 135lb Marquez, lost/draw against 140lb Bradley, Ko'ed by Marquez.

Mayweather fought all those guys but ducking Manny and cheating Margarito if these guys where so elite they would still be boxing at a high level now.

Mayweather is the best of this era.

You cant bring up Margarito period, hes a cheater. Same thing that happened to Cotto could have happened to Mayweather. Mayweather would have dominated Cotto back then also. Mosley was already a shot fighter but just happened to knock out the human pinata in Margarito. Stop Battle u trying to hard. Go to the Manny thread, theres nothing u can hate on Mayweather on at this point. Hes dominating people at age 36, he would have been 4 years younger in that "time period" ur making such a big deal about. Translation, he was a better fighter back then just hasnt lost his great skills and technique like most older fighters do that badly.

I'm not trying hard at all actually. people are saying he would beat anyone in any era and I don't agree with that for that reason. He skipped a time in boxing history where people were saying boxing is dead and it came back strong without Floyd with these top fighters from all different promotions fighting it out to see who's the best. We haven't seen that in Floyd since he's come back. And if you read my shit carefully I gave Floyd props already

And im telling u none of those fighters would have beat Mayweather. Before the Cotto/Margarito fight neither one was really known like that to bring in a lot of money. Mayweather could have fought Margarito before that fight happened and obviously that was before Margarito got caught cheating. U have no argument. Only argument u have is Manny and Floyd not fighting and obviously Floyd hated Top Ranked before that fight was gonna be made.

And we will never know if he would or wouldn't have beaten those fighters at that time. Now, you have your opinion on that and I respect that, but I still have my opinion and just Cotto at 147 alone at that time would have beaten Floyd. Now, I read an article once that says Floyd is looked upon as the best cuz he's the fittest boxer ever and doesn't like to take punishment and I agree with that. But if in between 2007-2009 or in any era if he fought more than twice a year like those fighters did, who knows how his body would react to that. Look what's happening to him now? he reminds me of Sergio Martinez and gets hurt evry fight now. So imagine if he fought those fighters at that time at least twice a year would he be that fit right now?

Only reason hes undefeated is cuz he hand picks his opponents,.he even admitted it recently,.he's a lil bitch!,..and he only won cuz canelo beat himself,..u cant weight in @152 and come in at 165 the night of the fight,..that was just plain fuckin stupid on canelos part,.he basically beat him self before it even started!.......but fuck floyd.hes still a pussy bitch ass fighter,. If it was up to me,id knock his ass out quick,..with a baseball bat to the grill!..punk biatch!

All i know the boxing fans i know we all say the same thing floyd a ducker and a cherry picker.except floyds fans say different...everyone knew floyd was going to beat canelo except all the mexicans that were lied too...prime cotto,prime williams,prime manny what everyone was saying these guys could beat floyd who did floyd fight none of them retired,vacation.

Floyd has been in his prime for 17 years yet these other guys were only prime fighters from 07-09 hahahahahahahah. thats a very short window lol. Nice try fellas but Floyd is 36, how old is Cotto, Manny, Marg etc.........Floyd would smack them at 10 years old, 20 years old, & 30 years old. Hatin is a siccness. The G.O.A.T. Got Em!!

Mayweather handpicked fighters even though he was a Top Rank fighter and Bob Arum was his boss until the Judah fight when he brought out of his contract. Mayweather have not fought another Top Rank fighter since he left but forget all that right? Mayweather offered 50/50 split and random testing with 14-day cut-off and Manny walked away, but again Mayweather ducked Manny in your world. The hating on Mayweather is getting sad and dumb at this piont he has done it all in this era.

What every one saying right now who floyd going to fight next theres know one that can beat him right at 147 or 140 or has a chance floyd knows this boxing fans know this.why u think floyd signed a six fight contract with showtime theres know one near the radar the coast is clear.now he want to fight two times a year lol he wants to get active now when the competition is weak......
