THE TIME HAS COME!

So my current employer, really let me down a few months back when it came time for annual bonuses & raises.

My raise for the entire year was only .88 cents.

Granted they pay well already, but I know what the guy before me made & he was well over 120k, meanwhile they let me set around the 82.5k mark, knowing that I was taking over all responsibilities the my predecessor had, for much less $$$.

I interviewed elsewhere on Monday, when I had the day off for moving my house, with my company's #1 competitor, & they called & sent me an offer letter about 30 mins ago for WAY more than anticipated (close to what my predecessor was making here )

I am about to go into a meeting with my manager & give him the opportunity to either match, or receive my letter of resignation.

Any of the brehs advice before I go?
That's awesome. I dream about scenarios like that. Im happy for you, and also slightly jealous about the amount of money you make, lol.

And LOL @ people being so grief stricken, using the word 'devastated'. Cmon son, you didn't even know him.
Yeah I never got that either. I mean I can see being a little bummed that a actor, musician, whatever that you liked passing away but when people literally get distraught over it happening it kind of weirds me out honestly.

We had that Michael Jackson documentary at my theatre the year after he died and when the movie ended this one lady had to be brought out by two friends arm in arm while she literally screamed crying "Michael nooooooooo! Miiiiiiiichael nooooooooooooo!" and started touching the standee we had of him in front of the auditorium and rubbing his cardboard face and kissing it while sobbing uncontrollably. It was really awkward to watch.
