So I played the demo of syndicate. WTF is this shit? It's the SAME goddamn FPS as all the other ones. It has the SAME red arrow thing, the SAME reticules, the SAME walk over and press square to pick up the weapon thing, the SAME controls as other FPS (which is ok because the layout is comfortable but still.)

So why in the fuck does the demo last two minutes? I was in a match, we killed this robot looking guy like two minutes after the demo started and it just ended. It went to the preview trailer that they released a while back. WTF? Then I couldn't find a match for like 30 minutes cause I was like this can't be the demo and after I found one and played for 10 minutes the shit disconnected me (this may have had something to do with the psn bein down for maintence.)

And why does the game look so blurry? Why are the fonts so small?
I agree with everything you are saying but at the same time how are any other modern FPS's innovative? I haven't played a FPS that felt that intense since Kane and Lynch, the only difference is this game is more smooth and everything just feels right. The main problem is you get jackass teammates that don't realize the CO-OP in Co-Op Multiplayer mode, so they try to go all rambo on the fuckin thing and completely fuck you and your teammates over, which I feel they did fairly well by the way. This game is all about teamwork and it translates really well, unlike most online fps where you practically are solo.

I like the upgrade system and overall mechanics, the only thing I'm drawn back by is the length of this game. I read that there will only be 9 Co-Op missions in total for the full version, which makes me question how long the single player story is for this game. I hope they continue to work on this game and improve on the rough spots because there is a ton of potential, I think this will be a one time deal because they seen the success in DX:HR and decided to also revive a old Cyberpunk game, and after it doesn't favor well they will abandon any future sequels unfortunately.

If you're a Silver subscriber on Xbox Live, downloading the Mass Effect 3 demo will allow you to cease being that one weirdo in your group who can't ever play with his friends online because he's a cheapskate. Upon downloading the demo, all Silver members will be automatically bumped up to Gold level until Mass Effect 3 launches on March 6.

The demo will be available on February 14 not only for Xbox 360 users, but also PC and PS3. Players will get a taste of the multiplayer component and sample the Reaper attack on Earth that opens the game.

So will you be able to use Gold on all your games, or just ME3? I'm sure there's a way they regulate giving out Gold memberships until the game releases. Pre-order, maybe?

^^^You still never answered my question about what games you play. Just give a list of 5 or so and we'll go from there.
List of favorite games:

Deus Ex (original only)
Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind
Parasite Eve (Still need to play 3rd Birthday)
Romance of the Three Kingdoms X
Vampires The Masquerade: Bloodlines
MGS 2 & 3
Silent Hill 1-3 (3 being my favorite)
Kessen (1 only, hell of a strategy game)
Legend of Zelda: OOT

(I could go on but I'll stop)

For the most part I like anything with depth and complexity, top it off with a intriguing, thought provoking plot and I'm sold.

^^^of course not, I don't own a PS3 and as much as I want to play the NIS games. I can't justify buying one for only those games.

just googled that and guess that sucks for me. at least it was only 15$. I tend to play most games only once through anyway.

okay thought it went without saying, I was referring to games from this year.

3rd Birthday is by far the best in the series.

OK, I spent several hours with the demo yesterday and my position has changed some. This game does have potential.

The cyberpunk setting and the fact that you aren't really a "good guy" = good.

Guns. Some of these guns feel really good and have their own character and feel. The auto shotgun is a beast.

Upgrades. Weapons upgrades, skills, etc. They actually work.

The enemy AI. They'll flank, they'll come at you, they will dodge shots when you're shooting up close. But some times when you're far away and you shoot they just stand there. I hope they tighten that up.

Graphics are hit and miss. Some spots look good and some look shitty. Animations could have been better. Again, this is the demo but I hope the final version is better.

Glitches and framerate dips and spikes. It's a demo, so you can expect that, but if the final version has gameplay where the characters stutter up and down the screen (like they're jumping up and down real fast) it ain't gonna fly.

People don't know how to play the game. Use your chips and your upgrades. I don't think ANY person on my squad used their powerups/breach skills. I'm at level 5 now, btw. When I got the hang of it, the game reminded me of Crysis 2 in the sense that you have to watch your meters/gauges and basically "pedal".

The graphics from the demo look really washed out.

I've heard nothing on the campaign length but I've heard the co-op will take 7 hours to beat and there are 11 maps. On the demo you can see 10 of them you just can't play on them.

No multiplayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (lol MTT)

This game is difficult. Create a private match and you'll be able to do the co-op mission alone. Try it out and see how the game feels.

Breaching should have been a bit more involved. The press a button and hold thing is ok, but it would have been better if you had to do several things while breaching. But shit you're in the middle of a fire fight so I guess they wanted to keep things simple.
