Anyone pick up their thunderbolt yet? You can get it here for $179. Heard a lot of people are loving how fast and smooth the phone is, but as reported the battery life is REALLY bad. Everyone is having to buy the extended battery. Still debating on whether to get the thunderbolt!

the 4g is sucks the battery that's for sure. with a full charge, i went thru the whole day fine. i'm a moderate user but for someone who's on the phone constantly, an extended battery is a must.

It's all preference. I personally think the iphone 4 looks sleek as fuck and from messing with my boys it's really smooth, but all the limitations and lack of customization really sucks. They are very user friendly and got some fun games, but the way androids allow you to customize the phone to suit you is unmatched by the iphone.

As for the thunderbolt I don't think i'm going to get it. The extended battery is annoying as fuck to have to deal. Makes the phone big and clunky. Look's like i'll stick to my X.

my buddy has the atrix and we compared download speeds and he's phone was quicker by millisecs. its a dual processor and a bit smaller (very similar to the iphone 4). some people say the htc thunderbolt is basically sprint's evo. this is my first real smartphone (had a blackberry) and the user friendliness is phenomal. very comparable to the iphone 4. the display of the iphone 4 however is the best in the industry. the verizon rep did say the htc thunderbolt does have apps available that can similate iphone 4's facetime. in addition, the thunderbolt can be online and have a conversation whereas the iphone 4 cannot (cdma). i read most of this on www.phonescoop.com

Yeah got it on the 18th. Been really happy with it so far and its true that the battery kind of sucks. Might invest in an extended battery though. The different scenes you can choose are really helpful to me and I like the fact that you can link the phone up to my different internet acounts( youtube, flickr, facebook, etc.) This is my first smartphone so im still figuring stuff out as I go. Overall i'm really happy with it so far
