damn I don't know what to expect this season
Another 5 wins, thats what.

Where the fuck is Carlson?

Our running game looks like complete ASS....which is because our OL is ASS.

Curry? Fuckin bust. Dude is awful.

Whitehurst = dumb fuckin trade. I mean...really? Dude is 29 years old. There is a reason he has rode the pine for 6 years and NEVER been traded elsewhere. If he WAS any good, someone else woulda taken him by now. I dont even want to mention Losman.

However, the secondary looks MUCH better...if Earl can play at the level he did against Minny, expect good things this year.

Our DL looked BETTER this week, but still a big ass ?.

Mike Williams = BIG advantage over EVERY DB in the league...if Matt can get him the ball.

Deion looks more focused this year and could thrive in this offense.

Speaking of Deion, will Butler get more time this year? And why the mother FUCK isnt Tate getting more passes thrown to him???

PS - John Ryan to the Pro Bowl. Dude is blasting 60 yard punts like its no ones business.

You're calling Cury a bust already? damn. I think it's way too early to say that.
Ive watched him now in all three preseason games and dude STILL looks lost, cant tackle for shit, and goes 100 MPH with no direction. In other words, he looks exactly the same as last year.

The fact that he was picked 4th overall makes him a bust at this point. Had he been picked in the 7th, no one would even bat an eyelash at his lack of performance...but thats how drafts work in pro-sports as far as rating a young player: position picked in the draft. Right now, Curry's stock is LOW for his position-of-draft/value rating.

I disagree with that assessment. I mean, what if mid-way through the season shit starts to click for him and next year he's an all out beast? Is he bust? Just pre-mature is all I'm saying

LB's are one of those positions where young players seem to excel in right away. Not ALL, but many.

Sure, he COULD all of a sudden get it, but lets be honest here: he wasn't that great in college! I was scratching my head when they had Curry up THAT high on the board. The dude was a two star LB coming out of HS, and didn't have mind blowing stats on an above average defense at WF. On top of that, Mora tried to make him a SAM, which makes ZERO sense since that was NEVER his role in college.

I never wanted to draft him and he is re-affirming WHY. He is a case of a player with GREAT physical tools, that just dont translate over to a high level of football. It is what it is.

Expect Herring/McCoy to replace him by the 5th game. Book it.

It's only pre-season
And? Everyone else on the defense seems to be playing at their level...what makes Curry exempt from that?

That still doesn't mean shit. Look at Justin Forsett that one pre-season, he was great in the pre-season, but once the regular season got here, he didn't do as well as he did in the pre-season. The Seahawks won all four pre-season games last season, and they looked like they were going to be a good team in the regular season, but weren't. I'm just sayin, the way players play in the pre-season don't mean shit. Regular season is what matters and all I care about.

Once the 2010-2011 regular season is over, I think it'll be fair to fully criticize any player you want, but certainly not after just three pre-season games. New systems, new coaches, new players, new GM, new everything. I don't think the whole team is going to be clicking on all gears right off the bat, especially not in three pre-season games.

However I get what you're saying, but just don't think it's fair to be so critical in the pre-season.

Seahawks cut 4 to get to 75-man limit

RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks have waived injured defensive tackle Jonathan Lewis and cut four others to reach the NFL mandated 75-man roster limit.

The Seahawks made the moves on Monday.

Along with Lewis, Seattle waived defensive end Ricky Foley, wide receiver Kole Heckendorf, offensive guard Gregg Peat and kicker Clint Stitser. Foley led the Canadian Football League in sacks last season with 12 playing for the B.C. Lions.

Lewis broke his thumb in Saturday's preseason loss to Minnesota.

RB's are much different than LB's in that they are dependent on the OL to help them run.

And you NEED to care about pre-season because players are basically interviewing for a job.

You mean, not after 16 games AND 7 preseason games?

Curry is a bust. Boo mark it. And when this season is over, and he has sub-par stats, I will be here to tell you I told you so.

However I get what you're saying, but just don't think it's fair to be so critical in the pre-season.
Again, he played a full season LAST year and he looks EXACTLY the same. To a T. You can see a noticeable difference in other defensive players, notably Trufant. Yet, Curry looks like the same shitty player as last year.

Yes, I AM bitter....because we took the most overrated player in last year;s draft, when there were many other things we needed to address, specifically OL, QB, and DE. But Ruskell's faggot ass took Curry. Fuck that faggot.

What the fuck! They traded Josh Wilson to the Ravens. SMH...

The Seahawks traded the former second-round draft choice and starting cornerback to the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday for a conditional 2011 draft choice. Wilson grew up in Upper Marlboro, Md., and went to the University of Maryland before joining the Seahawks in 2007.

“There’s no place like home,” Wilson said after being told about the trade following practice. “I went to college a mile away from where I went to high school and now I’m going just down the highway from where I went to college to play in the NFL.

“So I’m not too upset about that.”

Still, the news of his departure from Seattle caught Wilson by surprise. He started 12 games in 2008 and 11 last season. He also is the franchise’s all-time leader kickoff return average (25.76 yards). Off the field, Wilson was the Seahawks’ Man of the Year in 2009 for his work in the community.

This summer, he was competing with former first-round draft choice Kelly Jennings for the starting job on the right side opposite Marcus Trufant.

“I was shocked,” Wilson said. “It’s a business decision. But for me, it’s the best business decision I could have gotten.”

Wilson became expendable because the Seahawks selected cornerback Walter Thurmond in the fourth round of April’s NFL draft and the coaches also like Roy Lewis, the former University of Washington Husky who played in nine games on special teams last year.

“Josh was a great player for us and we love him,” coach Pete Carroll said. “John (Schneider) said when he got here he wanted to create a roster that other teams wanted to come after, and this is an illustration of that. Because of a good draft this year and other players that have been here, we’ve got some good pieces in place that will seize this opportunity. We’re really excited to see how Kelly (Jennings), Walter (Thurmond) and Roy (Lewis) rise up and make the most of this chance.”

Jennings will start at right cornerback, with Thurmond replacing Wilson was the third corner who covers the slot receiver in the nickel defense.

To fill Wilson’s roster spot, defensive end James Wyche was signed.

The Ravens were desperate to acquire a cornerback because Dominique Foxworth tore a knee ligament at the start of training camp and is out for the season.

“He adds depth to our secondary and will help us,” Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome told the Baltimore Sun. “Pending his

Wilson and Foxworth played together for three seasons at Maryland.

“Dominique is the one who taught me so much at Maryland,” Wilson said. “He got me prepared to play at Maryland. So it’s a good situation where I know somebody there who plays the same position.”

Foxworth also remembers Wilson.

“He’s an extremely fiery and aggressive player, and I think he’s very talented,” Foxworth told the Sun. “I know his personality fits into what we’re building here. Josh is a no-nonsense type of guy that fits with this defense and what it means to be a Raven. Off the field, he is a high-integrity guy. He’s a family man who is very smart and community-minded.”

The trade also means a homecoming for Wilson’s wife, Jazmin. They were high school sweethearts.

“She’s probably at home already with the house packed,” Wilson said.

Andy Lee > Ryan lol
Arguing who has the best punter? LMAO Having a badass punter is good, but there's a reason why your punter is so badass, because your team can't commit the 1st down and always punting. The Raiders have the best punter in the league for a reason lol
