How many different versions are there? And which one is the first pressing?

I have 2 versions; BMR572D and MANS 0012-2

The other one is on simple silver bottom CD and the BMR is on black disc with red text. I don't need both copies so I'm selling the other one. I want to keep the original but which one is it, dont know...

There is also a Ground Level Entertainment version.

I was selling a boatload of their^^^ shit a few years ago. I wish I had more info on the classification of those. I don't know if they're OG's or what but they did distribute a ton of west coast shit Lil CS, Brotha Lynch, Loki, Sicx, Zagg etc. At any rate they print their logo on the artwork so they're easy to identify... They gotta be pretty rare because I dont see those versions that often these days.

That company also released Sicx - "If these walls could talk."

At any rate I know BMR has a history of local releases and no doubt there is no exception to Sicx - Dead 4 Life. The OG's have no barcode on the back, all BMR local releases in fact dont have barcodes. Even then it gets confusing because some have no barcode and some just have the box where the barcode should be "whited/blacked/yellowed out." "Season of the Siccness" has to have at least 15 different presses, I would imagine "dead 4 life" to be the same.

Good luck finding a true OG because I really have no clue which of the several versions I have seen are OG.

I used to actually think it's tight & it kinda is. The only reason I don't bump sicx any more, is cuzz I feel funny thinking about the real sick things he's done in his life. Damn, so I wonder how many different versions there are of this album. I remember someone I know had what I think may have been the og tape. From what I remember the tape insert was pretty long compared to other versions I think, but I don't know. All I had was a BMR rerelease, which I think had a blank white part on the front cover.

I had black disc red text, bought from record store here in 2002.
I believe it was re-release.
Sold it couple years ago.

If These Walls Could Talk To Me is better, thats near best Siccmade album.

The BMR572D with the Red & Black CD is the original CD version. The true OG is the tape only version.
does the tape have any differences in tracks or is it all the same? i got my tape somewhere but can't find it.

i also coulda swore that the x-raided psycho active was tape only first too?

The original Dead 4 Life came out in 1993 and was only released on tape (maybe on wax too, but i've never seen one). The CD version came out in 1995, and it was the one with the red & black cd. There were no different tracks on it as far as i know.

This is the OG Tape Only release from 93. It was posted a while back in the 9-1-siccness thread, forgot who owns it, but I saved the image. My bad for jacking it if the owner sees it:

Maybe you're thinking of the "Niggaz In Black EP", which was X-Raided's very 1st tape & most of the tracks went on psycho active.

That tape definately looks og, but looks like a rerelease cover. Somebody on here said the og has a track with a different beat.

The tape shown does not feature any detailed information to confirm it's the 1993 release. The cover featured from this picture is the 1995 BMR version, based on the serial/issue number.
