Did you see how they started last year? Heck, did you see how the Yankess were last year a month into the season?

Baseball is a marathon. There are 150+ games left to be played. Have patience.
yeah but as you can see from the As last year, if you fall behind in your division early its really hard to make up no matter how good you play in the second half...baseball is a marathon but a team like seattle needs to play consistent all year to make a big push for the playoffs...the wildcard is almost penciled in for a team in the AL east..and the west is going to be far more competive this year this years past...mariners spent a lot to keep your fans happy...the players need to produce now

You can make up 3-6 games in 2 series withiin your division. The A's fell back last year because they were a shitty team.

There is a always a few teams that end up going on streaks every year. Again, there are still 150+ games to played. Panicking now is dumb.

Finally, Lee gets his Mariners debut on Friday night at Safeco Field against Texas, his first start since Game 5 of the World Series on Nov. 2, when he beat the New York Yankees for the Philadelphia Phillies.

And Seattle finally gets to unwrap its prized winter acquisition in what has to be its most anticipated April 30 game in team history. The Mariners are expecting such a large crowd, they are opening the stadium gates early.

“I’m anxious. I can’t speed up the clock,” Lee said. “Friday, it’s just go out there and have fun. Let it all hang out.”

Almost all. He will be limited to about 100 pitches.

It sucks Lee missed the whole first month seeing he is going to be gone after this year. I'm going to try to make it to see him pitch at least one time this season.

Speaking of Mariners, Griffey is here at my theatre right now and just ordered a large tub of popcorn, two hot dogs, and a large Coke... just for himself. I swear I read somewhere a few days ago that he said he was "getting into elite condition" for the remainder of the season lol.

Oh yeah, and while I do like the Mariners...

GO YANKEES!

Milton Bradley's return as Mariners' cleanup hitter lasts 6 innings
By The Associated Press

SEATTLE -- Milton Bradley's return as Seattle's cleanup hitter lasted six innings and two strikeouts. Then, Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu removed the angry slugger from Tuesday night's loss to Tampa Bay.

The self-proclaimed Kanye West of baseball wasn't in the stadium immediately after Seattle's fourth straight loss. Multiple Mariners say Bradley was furious for Wakamatsu taking him out of a 3-1 game following his second strikeout looking against James Shields, with the bases loaded in the sixth.

Wakamatsu would only say that "what went on with the two strikeouts, it was time we got him out of the ballgame."

Bradley went 0 for 3 batting cleanup for the first since April 9, when he was in the middle of a 1-for-22 debut for his eighth team in 10 seasons.

______

FYI Silva is 2-0 with a 2.90 ERA and 1.00 WHIP..... Didnt expect much from Silva and was just glad to get rid of Bradley. This is just a added bonus!

I didn't expect the M's to do good against TB anyways. They're the best team in the league right now. M's are on a slump, and need to fix that shit.
