Damn I would love if they got Jared Gaither. I'd definitely give up 17th pick for him!!
when i read this i had to read more about dude cuz i dont know all the o-line guys in the league, but yeah this would be a good deal for both teams.

since we were gonna draft a tackle anyways, might as well get a proven guy. and hes super young too.

the prob is, he will cost a higher salary than a rook but thats the price to have a proven player.

however i wouldnt give up the 13th for him and an article suggested the ravens might try to push us to that.

David Carr? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING?

There's better QB's out there to go after...JUST FUCKING WOW!
http://blog.pressdemocrat.com/49ers/2010/03/carr-signed-to-take-over-as-49ers-no-2.html
The 49ers want to feature a power-running game with a vertical-passing threat. Offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye said last year that it's paramount for the offense to have a quarterback who provides a downfield threat. The 49ers never thought they had that with Hill.

That is why the 49ers made the move for Carr.

Carr. Hahhhha he sucks. Alex will be fine this year. I mean its his first time working with he same OC in consecutive years. Just work on the oline.

He is a better backup than hill tho. The 49ers FO moves be reminding me of the warriors FO

Fargas is cool, but we already have a sick rb who runs hard with lots of heart. We need a change of pace back like Spiller or Best. Somebody posted this mock draft and I thought it was pretty damn good

49ers Trade the 17th Pick for Jared Gaither OT, Ravens
- Established OT
- Only 24 years old
- Can play LT or RT

1st Round: Trade Down into 20's- Brandon Graham, OLB Michigan
- Our OT need is already taken care of
- Allows us to trade down and pick up and extra second rounder while getting some much needed pass rush

2nd Round: Jahvid Best, RB CAL
- Very explosive change of pace back
- Return abilities

2nd Round (Acquired in Trade): Jon Asamoah, G Illinois
- Push Bass/Rachal for time right away

3rd Round: Reshad Jones, SS Georgia
- Mike Lewis eventual replacement either this year or next

4th Round: Mardy Gilyard, WR Cincinnati
- Solid receiver
- Also great return abilities
- Slower then expected 40 could mean he's available in the 4th

5th Round: Jamar Chaney, ILB Mississippi St.
- Big athletic ILB
- Can sit behind Spikes and learn this year while playing special teams

6th Round: Junior Gallete, OLB Stillman
- Athletic pass rushing project

7th Round: BPA

a real solid mock, glad there arent any bear pascoes in it.

if we dont trade down, i'd use 13 on 1 of the beast de-line guys this year. thats the 1 thing the mock is missing despite drafting a rover in the 6th.

if we can get a stud, we should. imagine someone beastin with justin smith and aubrayo franklin, it would open up so much more for pressure.

I wouldn't mind having Fargas though..he's better than Coffee IMO...

Yes the 49ers plan on getting rid of Hill this year without a doubt, he's useless IMO.

The 49ers should have gone for Vick though if they was aiming for a QB that can be a threat running down the field and being able to complete passes while under pressure.

Nate Davis looks like he'll be the future QB of the 49ers, something about him tells me he's going to lead the 49ers somewhere.

and that's one helluva of a mock draft though....

coffee was a rookie that didnt get much chance. our o-line and the o-line coach had their head up their ass for most of the year, and jimmy raye was/is a terrible play caller.

everytime we ran was retarded obvious.

fargas might be ok but hes 30 years old. his best year was with kiffin. a guy who proves coaching >>>

kiffin somehow turned a line that sucks worse than ours into a top 5 rushing team in the league. he champed up that o-line and called good plays. even if the other team knew they were gonna run, they didnt kno what side or what type of run it would be.

i think jimmy raye called 1 toss play last year? it was def less than 5 for the entire year. even something off the tackle was kinda rare.
