This tape is fucking awesome.

The Southern California mythology glints in the irises of certain dreamers more radiantly than it does in others, and few crews have begun capturing the imaginary high life of neon Corvette rides, Ray-Bans at night, and sea-breeze mind-surfing better than the Outer Limits Recordings collective. They operate under most radars but their output is a radical Rubik’s Cube of riddles, tape hiss, and tranced pop utopias. Matrix Metals is casually referred to as an “alien lounge music” project, but that’s not even the half of it. A hotwired collection of fringe-vision vignettes that roves from ghost club beats to astral 80s TV theme songs to loopy interdimensional dub-funk and beyond, Flamingo Breeze is a capitalized question mark in the NNF canon, and a recent obsession of ours.

Yeah this shit is pretty dope, I know you get a lot of tape only releases like this do you think you could spread the wealth a little bit dude? Thanks in advance...
Yeah, I buy a lot of tapes these days but I have no way to up them so the rips are from other people on the net. Some rips are great, some are really shitty. I try my hardest to find good rips to throw on my Zune.

Anyways, my computer at my house has been acting up as of late so I might not be on as frequent for a few. Hopefully I will get things worked out soon.

Here is a tape I've been digging a lot lately though. Good rip.

William Giacchi of Magic Lantern/Super Minerals reports: "While visiting family in southern Sicily last December, I caught up with an old friend who has shared a very similar trajectory with me in interests of psychedelic music both newer and vintage, local and global. Much to my elated surprise, he has been equally busy producing new sounds of his own, having lately assembled a mysterious psychedelic groove ensemble known as Silver Bullets. I sat in on a recording session and realized I was in the presence of psychic brethren, and that Stunned Records would be the perfect platform to introduce their brand of tonal gyration. Both the Silver Bullets and Phil & Myste were thrilled about the partnership, and thus we present ‘Free Radical’ — two sides, eleven tracks of kraut-funk, coned-out drone rock, and assorted experiments with space and time. Wade through bluesy head-nodders, Italian fuzz contests, interplanetary bleeps and blips, and liberated dance songs for anti-environments. Taking spiritual cues from Don Cherry's Eternal Rhythm, ‘Free Radical’ is a statement of unity through musical expression and an ecstatic celebration of existence. Play this tape at full moon and brace yourself for the unforeseen happenings."

*edit*

Go to this website:

And use google's blogsearch to look up those tapes. Stunned is one of my favorite out there and everything I've bought/heard from them have been great.

SEAHAWKS!!!
Thanks a lot man! I'm finding a download for just about everyone I look up. I kind of like that shitty quality tape sound.

Edit: When you get a chance recommend some good tapes. I'll find them, I just need to know what to look for. Thanks in advance.
