In the video Young Gully shows the raw and uncut side of east Oakland, California as it starts. He then goes on a retreat and in between that, takes us through memories of his past. Michael Watkins also known as Young Gully was born in East Oakland, California on August 26th, 1987. He started writing and rapping at the age of 12 and recording by the age of 16. He is 1/4th of a group he helped form in high school, called the Young Hustlaz. He has done over 20 mixtapes/albums by the age of 28, with his latest one being the Bermuda Trilogy (Part 1. God, Part 2. Devil, and Part 3. Human). He has received praise from the likes of MC Hammer, Webbie, Freddie Gibbs, Mistah Fab, Warren G, and many others. He is known in the bay area for his high octane, yet deep and thoughtful lyricism. He is also known for always helping out younger and up and coming artists in his community and giving them opportunities to be heard on his projects every chance he gets.
