Long Beach City’s Warren G has been hinting to fans about having several unreleased songs with the late great Nate Dogg, this week the Platinum producer announced that he’ll release his next EP Regulate…G Funk Era Pt. II on Aug 6th.
Regulate… G Funk Era Pt. 2 will be Warren G’s first project since The G Files in 2009, and the sequel to his 1994 debut. Billboard Magazine spoke with Warren G and he had this to say about the up and coming project.
“I feel real good that I am getting the chance to let people hear a lot of that sound that has been missing [in] hip-hop,” Warren G told Billboard. “I finally have records that I had in the archives that I put together to let the world hear some of that G Funk that they’ve been missing and wanting to hear for long time.”
