Troy Ave Avoids Indictment For Murder

According to reports by media giant TMZ, a jury has decided not to indict Troy Ave for the murder of his friend and bodyguard Ronald “B$B Banga” McPhatter, who was killed during a May 25th shooting at New York City’s Irving Plaza.

TMZ also reported that ballistics testing proved that the bullets that killed McPhatter did not come from the weapon that Troy fired. However, Troy still faces charges of attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Troy’s lawyer, Scott Leemon tells the outlet that he plans to request that Troy be released on bail at his next hearing, which is slated for later this week.
