There are few if any rap producers who could claim to be as prolific or influential in 2013 as LA’s DJ Mustard. Unquestionably creating the definitive sound of club rap for the past two years, while helping launch and relaunch the careers of Southern Hospitality favourites Ty Dolla $ign, YG, Kid Ink, 2 Chainz and B.o.B. to name just a few, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say Mustard had a huge hand in the recent west coast resurgence, while simply making some of our all-time favourite music.
