Levi’s and Chucks is a collaboration between Cincinnati-born Lotto and Southern California producer TweekBeatz, who has previously worked with the likes of Keyshia Cole, The Game and Lil Kim. Lotto’s Southern-molded Midwest flow combines with TweekBeatz’ modern take on the traditional Cali sound to create what Lotto describes as #MidWestCoastSouthernHipHop. “Our music has no targeted audience,” he explains, “just people that like dope music.” The name of the project is in fact a reflection of its universal appeal: fashion fads and trends come and go, but Levi’s and Converse “Chuck Taylors” have become timeless classics that transcend all demographics. Street Lotto’s goal is to do the same with “Levi’s and Chucks.”
