Chris brown & Drake Line it up for Money???

I Know Yall at the siccness dam near tired of the talk about Chris Brezezy & Drakes altercation at the bar however this week a celebrity boxing promoter is hoping to capitalize on the alleged nightclub brawl between singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake by offering them $1 million each to take their beef to the ring. Not bad!!! The promoter, Damon Feldman, also says he is asking singer Rihanna to be a ring girl at the bout, but acknowledged she’ll likely pass. (ha ha..too funny) Feldman says he has the financial backing of businessman Alki David and that he’ll donate $1 million to a charity that helps abused women if the fight takes place. The fight, he said, would feature three minute-long rounds with the participants donning oversized gloves and protective head gear. Feldman is no stranger to publicity. He has put on fights featuring ex-baseball outfielder Jose Canseco, Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael and Rodney King.Feldman says he has not received a response from either Drake or Brown. This would be dope….Could we still get Suge & P-Diddy  Camron & Ma$e.  Dr Dre & …..let me stop.

Is the Q sipping on haterade?

Quincy Jones is certainly one of the most influential producers of alltime, having lent his midas touch to everyone from Ray Charles toMichael Jackson. As such, he’s an authority on music and is entitledto give his opinion on the careers of others in the industry. And onTuesday, he had Diddy on his mind. In an interview with The Wrap at a Spotify launch event in Los Angeles (the streaming service was announcing artist-curated playlists), Jones said that  the rapper and Bad Boy head honcho “couldn’t recognize a bflat.” Instead, Jones noted, “P. Diddy has a doctorate in marketing,”citing his clothing labels and success with Ciroc (his vodka company)as the rapper’s true talents. Im sure Puff would agree to this though Jones’ comments might strike some as a welcome rebuke of Diddy’s reputation as one of the most influential men in hip-hop, the situation is slightly more complicated. Though Diddy is probably not afantastic musician, he has proven (time and time again) to have great ear. After all, this is the man that signed not only FaithEvans, 112, Cassie and Mario Winans, but also Biggie Smalls and many more (That said, it could be argued that his biggest musical achievement wasstumbling upon and fostering Notorious B.I.G., which was decades ago). It’s true that Diddy seems hellbent on maxing out his business ventures, but that doesn’t mean he always succeeds. He recently closedJustin, the Atlanta restaurant he named after his son. The New Yorkoutpost of Justin was also closed, in 1997. Justin Combs, of course, has been in the news lately for receiving a full-ride to play football at UCLA. Many were shocked that theinfamously cash-strapped school would offer a hefty scholarship to the son of a mogul, but others defended the decision, citing the fact that money that goes to the football program could not be allocatedelsewhere. Some maintained that if Justin is qualified to earn a scholarship, his father’s wealth should not prevent him from doing so.

R.Kelly penning melody in pages.

R. Kelly has a new book out now, a three-act opus on what it was like to go from Robert Sylvester Kelly to the most successful R&B artist of the past 25 years.  Don’t you dare disagree!!  Yeh the pied piper has had some bumps in the road but we here at the siccness thats over 25 definitely have had some beds squeaking to Robert Kelly!! Back to the book “Back in the Day,” the first act of Soulacoaster: The Diary Of Me,focuses on his upbringing in the South Side of Chicago. Kelly shares the inspiring story of his relationship with his music teacher — Ms.Lena McLin — who predicted that it would be music, not basketball, which would prove to be young Robert’s ultimate calling. Acts II (“Getting Busy”) and III (“In the Ring”) delineate his rise to fame — and the struggles that come with it. HuffPost Entertainment states that the book, which was published June 28, is frank in its discussion of his bouts with “the hard-to-resist sexual and financial temptations that accompany sudden stardom.”In press materials, Kelly described the project as a survival memoir.”In the end, I am saved by the music,” he said. “Liked ‘Trapped in the Closet,’ life for me is full of cliff-hangers … I am saved by God’s gift of love. If through my words and music I can pass on that gift to the readers, I am the happiest man on earth.”Unfortunately, Kelly recently canceled promotional appearances for the book on account of a health emergency. It was later revealed that he suffered complications from a throat surgery and had to return to Chicago. If the Man can put together a book like he does a song then we gots to get this.

Snoop Dogg, Still up in smoke.. & with notes.

West Coast rap veteran Snoop Dogg reportedly got busted at a Norway airport Thursday (June 28) morning after a drug-sniffing dog detectedhe had marijuana on him. According to reports, Snoop was briefly detained at Norway’sKristiansand Airport. Norwegian media are reporting that Snoop Dogg was briefly detained in Norway after entering the country with marijuana and a large amount of cash. Customs officials decline to confirm the report, saying only that an American artist entered Norway with a small amount of marijuana that was detected by a sniffer-dog. Norwegian law prevents law enforcement officials from naming suspects. (WPTV)the rap star had to cough up nearly $10,000 for violating the country’s marijuana possession law and carrying an excess of cash on him. Customs officials would not confirm that the rapper had been detained because of Norway’s law preventing the naming of suspects, but officials said an American artist had been caught with a small amount of marijuana by a sniffer-dog. They added that the artist was also carrying more cash than one is legally allowed to bring into the country and was fined $8,600 for violations. Snoop Dogg was to perform on Thursday night at a music festival as his summer tour continues. Now ain’t that some shit, Carrying MORE money then the law allow. Must be nice!!!!
