Schoolboy Q Shares Way Too Much at Cipha Sounds’ Hip Hop Improv RADNESS – The CMJ Edition

New York, NY, October 23, 2013 – On Wednesday, October 16th, 2013 Hip Hop recording artistsSchoolBoy Q and Troy Ave celebrated the coolness of the CMJ festival via into RADNESS, a Hip Hop Improv Show presented by Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds and Lukas Kaiser of Spike TV in the heart ofBrooklyn at Union Hall. The evening featured never before told monologues from Schoolboy Q, Troy Ave, and actor Carl Payne of the hit TV series Martin. Cipha Sounds, Lukas Kaiser, and a team of improvisers reenacted stories originally told by SchoolBoy Q, Troy Ave, and Carl Payne.

Schoolboy Q shared a little bathroom humor on growing up in grade school and an unfortunate but absurdly funny outcome of a substitute teacher denying his request for restroom privileges. In addition to the confrontation that ensued between his mother and the school as the aftermath.

For a double dose of humor for the evening, Troy Ave shares tales with audience close encounters with robbers looking to stick him and a friend up for a chain outside a New York City club while in close range to police squad. The show also included funny impromptu appearance and story from comedian Carl Payne.

Music was provided by DJ E. Stylez of Hot 97. Special guests included, Peter Rosenberg (Hot 97), Keith Nelson (AllHipHop.com), Drewski (Hot 97), Kev (Royal Kulture), Willy Dope (Par-City), and more.
