Rick Ross sixth studio album, MasterMind, has officially become the #1 selling album during its first week of release. This marks Ross’ fifth album to become the top selling in the country.

The promotional campaign for MasterMind was spearheaded by the LPMG team in conjunction with its label partners at Maybach Music Group and Def Jam. Using a grassroots approach in the album promotions, hype was generated for the album using a combination of lifestyle street marketing with traditional avenues such as mixshow/radio. LPMG’s online street team also initiated a large-scale viral and social media marketing campaign.

MasterMind is just the latest number one for the LPMG promotional team and Maybach Music Group label.
LPMG’s promotional support of MMG’s artists resulted in two number one albums on the Billboard charts in 2013—Wale’s The Gifted (#1 overall album) and the MMG compilation Self Made 3 (#1 Hip-Hop and R&B album).

In the midst of its 10-year anniversary, LPMG continues its string of successful campaigns for clients that include Reebok, Interscope Records, Belaire Rose Champagne, Def Jam Records, Sony Music, and a variety of others.
