The rapper, who changed his stage name to Boosie Badazz, has been diagnosed with kidney cancer, he revealed Wednesday on Instagram.
“I need all my fans to pray for me,” the 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys,” he posted in the caption alongside a snap of himself looking down at a breakfast table. “Prayer is power that’s why I’m letting the world know prayfaboosie.”
Boosie’s PR team had him take down the caption, TMZ reported.
