Oso Ocean, Ryan Anthony & More Attend Twelve aka 12 Gauge Shotie Listening Party

On the heels of their (12 Gauge Shotie and I-Rocc) double muddy cup, “Xan Diego” Ep (Produced by Fetty Slap) which featured the tracks “Dopest On Dope”, “16 Bar Challenge” and “Ridiculous” and fresh off his(Eff’n) “Rock City” album which featured the hit single “Let Her Go”. 12 Gauge Shotie and Eff’n McCoy team up courtesy of DA HUNNIT CLUB to drop another track to PO up to. “Dirty” (Produced by Fetty Slap) Ft. Lil Blood (3^rd world, One Mob) is a track that is soulful from jump. With vocals from Eff’n that reference the paint of his whip matching his cup and 12 and Lil Blood killing it on the 16’s, the sippaz won’t be disappointed in this one.

To get the masses to come out and support, 12 Gauge has been on a PR frenzy. With a successful listening party for Xan Diego a few months prior at DA HUNNIT CLUB, which was attended by a who’s who (Cricet, Siccness.net, Sky Walker, Don Elway) of San Diego’s elite MC’s, Bloggers, and move makers, he held a release party for his latest visual “Ugly” (Produced by Fetty Slap) Ft. Lil Blood at the Phantom Lounge in San Diego’s resurgent Gaslamp District.

Once again a bevy of the party goers are the usual suspects of who’s who (Oso Ocean, Waxi, Mucho, Ryan Anthony, Mr.Caypre) whenever Shotie puts on a function. The turn up was definitely real as the people were serenaded by the sounds of his latest work and by the end of the night was singing every bar of the “Ugly” track, which was played and requested quite a few times. Not missing the DJ’s rotation was “Dirty” and Eff’n was in the building as well to lend his support for his fellow HUNNIT Club brethren. The event was packed to say the least. With Nipsey Hussle in town the same night and a few blocks down the way at FSix, it didn’t steer fans from supporting one of their own. A good sign of things to come as 12 is in final preparation for his upcoming SXSW Tour with as many shows in as many days that he will be in attendance.  I’m quite sure he will be reppin the SD as he can and the folks of Austin are in for a treat.
