LOS ANGELES, CA (Jan. 19, 2017) – Hip-Hop icon Too $hort continues to capitalize on his long-lasting legacy in the rap game, with a game-changing new digital show dubbed “Too Short’s BoomBox,” available on the largest podcast network, PodcastOne.com, and iTunes. The ingenious new show, co-hosted by Too $hort and industry heavyweight Bobby Loco, exclusively brings together various celebrities, athletes, business experts and industry influencers for uncensored, hilarious and never-before-heard discussions on what’s hot, what’s viral, and how they became successful in today’s ever-evolving marketplace.

Global entrepreneur, network TV show host, actor, comedian and music artist, Nick Cannon, recently graced the show to chat with Too $hort about jaw-dropping topics from which artists should box whom in the latest round of social media beef and how to politely ask your girl for a blow job, to how $hort impacted Nick as a young aspiring artist.

“We wanted to create a new urban show with no restraints and find a different approach to sitting down and talking to interesting people. When you walk into the BoomBox, the good vibe and our open format allows people to feel comfortable and talk about whatever they want to discuss,” says show co-host Bobby Loco.” “We’ve developed it more as a radio show than a podcast, with a non-traditional format.
When you listen to the show, you’ll hear comedy, new music from today’s hottest artists and rising stars you haven’t heard before, while also touching on what’s relevant in today’s headlines. Through Too $hort’s incredible network of people he’s met along the way, we’re giving you a raw, inside look into a world that you wouldn’t have access to anywhere else.”

“We think ‘urban’ is not just black or white or brown – it’s everything and everyone and it spans across all boundaries and genres,” notes show producer Arshia Bolour. “We’re also filming each episode so there will be a creative new visual element we’re planning to unveil soon. “

Nick Cannon is the latest celebrity to stop by Too Short’s BoomBox, joining an incredible list of stars including Russell Simmons, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Actor Michael Rapaport, Warren G, Keke Palmer, G-Eazy, comedian Tommy Chong, Tech N9ne, Anderson Paak, Dom Kennedy, Eric Bellinger, Chanel West Coast and more. Too $hort’s BoomBox is filmed at his recently opened Digital BoomBox Studios, a fully equipped, digital creative facility located in Downtown Los Angeles, just five minutes from the Staples Center. The new location features two state of the art recording studios, a performance stage and venue, radio station, digital gaming cove and much more.
