Most if not all of the material on “Shock Of The Hour” was tailored with a dark G-Funk musical direction. During this time period MC Ren found a new rejuvenated spiritual belief. As he professed his dedication to Islam and became a devout member of Louis Farrakhan’s “Nation Of Islam.”
