Last year on February 2nd, our friend the Jacka was taken from us. a devoted father, a devout muslim and a bay area legend, his passing was a huge loss for the Bay Area community and for music as a whole.
But even though his physical form is gone, his memory and his legacy live on stronger than ever. His music is still slapped on the daily throughout the Bay Area & the rest of the world, and his influence is obvious in countless songs & albums from mainstream and underground artists.
To commemorate the life of someone so special, Thizzler n the roof interviewed some of the people closest to him, and released footage every day for the whole month.
