The to hot to overlook record, is produced by award-winning producer Knotch, and is a preview of what fans can expect from Micky Munday on his forthcoming project.
“Bye Felicia” is an ode to how Micky’s career has taken off since he started taking it seriously at age 17. In true Friday nature, Micky and fellow LA rhymester/songwriter Y2 decided to tell the rest of the rap game, “Bye Felicia.” San Diego native IAMxLOVE adds a unique touch to the song, creating a melting pot of Hip-Hop sound.
“We were playing around with creating the hook and were inspired by the Friday movie theme,” notes Micky Munday. “We wanted to make the sound a collaborative mesh of what’s going on today. It was a dope way for all of three of us to work together.”
Micky Munday is currently in the studio working on his upcoming new mixtape dubbed W.E.A.L.T.H. (Wanting Everything And Leaving This Hell) a follow up to his last project “Back to Work” hosted by DJ Don Cannon.
