Brooklyn rapper Kris Kasanova has been buzzing around the internet over the past few weeks, with the source of heat being his latest offering “Mitch Knows”. A flip of the Schoolboy Q original “Tookie Knows”, Kasanova effortlessly attacks the track with homegrown grit and his signature punchline prowess. Today, he debuts the video for the freestyle. Directed by TrifeDrew, the “Mitch Knows” visual walks you through the inspiration for the track, featuring notable scenes from Paid In Full.
“Blank Face was one of my favorite projects last year. “Tookie Knows” was a standout record for me. The piano made me wanna rap..and how dark it is fit the tone I wanted to set.” Kris says of the remix.
Mitch Knows comes as the latest of a bevy of remixes that Kris has been releasing, a calm flex and prelude to an impending EP from the rapper.
