Kobe Bryant Says Farewell After 20 Years With LA Lakers
Kobe Bryant Said Farewell After 20 Years With LA Lakers. The 5 time champion winner bows out as the only player in NBA history to spend a 20-year career with the same team. The 37-year-old walked off the court tonight in front of his devoted fans in grand fashion at the Staple Center. Kobe Bryant finished with 60 points in his final game of his career, leading the Lakers to an improbable win 101-96 over the Utah Jazz.
Unfortunately, his farewell season hasn’t been up to Bryant’s standards. The Lakers entered the game with a 16-65 mark.
Bryant retires as the third-leading scorer in league history and an 18-time All-Star.
