Kendrick Lamar ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ Expected to Sell 375K First week

Kendrick Lamar’s latest studio effort To Pimp A Butterfly has had a shaky rollout at best, but that won’t prevent the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper from moving a ton of units in the LP’s first week of availability.

According to HITS Daily Double, To Pimp A Butterfly is expected to sell 350-375k copies in the first seven days, although they admit those numbers could actually go up since the physical discs are only arriving to stores now. In the meantime, K. Dot’s new LP has also shattered the Spotify streaming record, but that will be a championship belt that changes hands often as the popularity of Spotify’s service continues to grow.

Pre-order your copy of Kendrick Lamar’s new album via iTunes or grab one at your local record store on March 23rd.
