Jurassic World Releases The Official Trailer

Welcome to Jurassic World! The first teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise debuted on Sunday, Nov. 23, sending fans into a tizzy of anticipation for the full trailer, which is set to be released by Universal Pictures on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.

At 20 seconds long, Sunday’s teaser offers just a brief look at the movie’s stars and special effects, but still pays homage to Steven Spielberg‘s 1993 original. It opens with a glimpse of the classic Jurassic Park gate, now grander and with a new name, slowly opening up to reveal what appears to be train tracks.

From there it flashes to a shot of Gallimimus dinosaurs sprinting past a tour bus, a twist on the famous Gallimimus stampede in the original that sent Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and others running for their lives.
