iLoveMemphis Debuts “Hit The Quan”

Today, breakout hip-hop artist iLoveMemphis premieres the hotly anticipated official music video for his smash hit single and pop culture phenomenon “Hit The Quan” on YouTube.
“I just wanna show love to my city… Memphis… and all the dancers around the world that embraced my challenge and turned this into a movement!” exclaims iLoveMemphis. “Hit the Quan was something I created because I wanted everyone to get up, get moving and most importantly, have some fun! Thank you for all the support! Now I present to you with the official Hit The Quan music video!”

iLoveMemphis’ success story began when he spent $35 to make “Hit The Quan.” Soon after, the 22-year-old entertainer signed with Barry Weiss’ RECORDS Label while “Hit The Quan” exploded onto the charts climbing to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100. The hit single and dance craze on YouTube has now earned over 150 Million combined YouTube views, sold over 450,000 singles, and landed at #14 on iTunes and #7 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. iLoveMemphis himself has reached #50 on the Billboard Artist 100.

Earlier this summer, iLoveMemphis set off the BET Awards with an animated live performance of “Hit The Quan” where he got Snoop Dogg, Soulja Boy and the entire audience up on their feet. Soon after, Ellen Degeneres recruited iLoveMemphis to bring his viral sensation to her show and “Hit The Quan” with her audience too. The ladies of The Real Daytime also joined in on the movement and learned the dance craze from the innovator himself.

Most impressive is the viral craze for the song and its fun signature dance. Kendrick Lamar and Terry Crews’ “Hit The Quan” quickly became the highlight of his new video “These Walls.” Meanwhile, The Rock hit the gym with “Hit The Quan” and caused a social media frenzy that was then picked up by Good Morning America, USA Today and Entertainment Weekly to name a few. A father/daughter dance team caught Ellen Degeneres’ attention with their “Hit The Quan” routine and earned a featured spot on her show. Amazingly, “Hit The Quan” has swept the nation with superstar Chris Brown, athletes Mike Tolbert and Antonio BrownUFC Fighters and even the Memphis Action News anchors all joining in on the fun.
