Guerilla Black Arrested For Role In Major Credit Card Scam Operation

L.A. rapper Guerilla Black has been arrested for the second time since July, for his involvement in a major credit card fraud operation.

Guerilla Black, a Los Angeles rapper, was arrested in July for identity theft and fraud for his role in an illegal credit card manufacturing scam, and now he has once more been arrested for involvement in the same scam, only now on a bigger scale.

The police announced on Wednesday, January 16th, that Guerilla Black was arrested for his involvement in a major credit card scam.

It is reported that the credit card scam earned the rapper around $20,000 a month, obviously much more than his rap career was bringing in for him. According to the Manhattan Beach Police five other people, along with the rapper, were arrested in connection with the scam. The operation used stolen information to manufacture phony credit cards.

The operation was investigated United States Secret Service Department as well as the Manhattan Beach Police Department, and seven different search warrants were eventually used throughout the L.A. county in order to dismantle the going-ons of the rapper and associates.

Police say that a number of banks in the United States (those targeted were Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, Capitol One and American Express) suffered extreme losses because of the criminal enterprise, as it seems each individual involved was actually earning more than the reported $20,000 per month.

Guerrilla Black, as well as the other five arrested could face new charges for Bank Fraud, Aggravated Identity Theft and Fraud in Connection with Computers, Access Device Fraud, Use of Stolen Credit Card Accounts, Receiving Stolen Property and Conspiracy.
