Gillie Da Kid To Portray Tupac In Upcoming ‘Suge Knight’ Film

The late rap legend, Tupac Shakur, will be depicted on-screen in an upcoming film about infamous hip-hop mogul, Suge Knight.

Tentatively titled Suge Knight, and directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film/documentary will showcase Knight without any filter, while he set the record straight on his experiences over the years as a mover and shaker in the music business.

Portraying Pac in the film is reportedly Philadelphia rap vet, Gillie Da Kid.

“We definitely got a budget in place for that right now. I’m just waiting to find out when we shooting,” he said in a recent interview. “I already got the script, so whenever I get the word that it’s time to get busy, it’s time to get busy.”

The rapper also says he’s been preparing for the role, doing his homework to portray the legendary Tupac correctly.

“I’mma transform like Will Smith did when he played Ali,” Gillie said. “We already know I’m G’d up enough to play ‘Pac, that was never a question. Who else is better to play ‘Pac than me though? None of these f***ing rappers.”

Further details about the film are unknown at press time.
