Genius Releases “a Eastside Story With Appearances by K Camp, Que and Scotty ATL

Jamaica-born and East Atlanta-raised Disc Jockey Genius is pioneering the new ATL sound that is making waves through the music industry. Genius offers an intense and engaging live show that is anchored by big records curated by Genius himself. Over the last few years Genius has had heavy involvement in breaking several major artists such as 2 Chainz, Migos, and fellow slum, K CAMP. While on tour with K CAMP this past year, Genius has been crafting his third LP, Prince Slum which includes features by K Camp, Trae The Truth, Sy Ari Da Kid, Scotty ATL and more. Presently with a total of over 5 million streams online, an impressive library of records/features and a network of powerful contacts – Genius is poised to be one of the most intriguing and influential players in Hip Hop.

Genius is a major architect of the ATL trap scene, working behind the scenes as a DJ, curator, and mixtape host in the influential music city. With today’s release of A Eastside Story: Deluxe Edition, Genius grabs the spotlight demonstrating his considerable abilities on the mic. The LP is a collaborative effort with newcomer Felipe, and the two emcees demonstrate close chemistry, trading bars and providing each other with auto-tuned ad-libs. “Felipe is my good friend and a young artist who I had been working with,” explains Genius. “He captures what is going on in his life growing up and living on the east side of Atlanta. We meshed together our stories from 2 different perspectives growing up in the same place.” The project includes features from K Camp, Que, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Mr. 2-17, K-Noe, Rich Espy, T-Hood, Coca Vango, Scotty ATL, and Two-9.
