Funk Flex Leaks Track Proving Drake Uses a Ghostwriter

Drake’s longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding the rapper’s alleged use of ghostwriters. Like plenty of other people have already pointed out, Shebib notes that supposed Drake ghostwriter Quentin Miller is explicitly credited on the Toronto rapper’s last album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, making Miller not much of a ghostwriter at all, in that case at least.

Shebib, who has worked alongside Drake for the better part of a decade, shared a series of Tweets tonight confirming that he’s worked in the studio with Miller but also came to Drake’s defense, saying, “No one is as talented as Drake.” Shebib also wrote that after approximately 5,000 hours in the studio with Drake he’s only been in the studio together with Miller for less than an hour.
