Vancouver, BC’s DJ Chong Wizard was the reigning Canadian mixtape king before his self-imposed hiatus in 2011. Known for his high profile projects like the Jay-Z/Ghostface Killah mash-up “American Ironman”, the double CD “Kung-Fu Hussle” with Ghostface, Raekwon and GZA, “Offishall Badman Bizness” with Kardinal Offishall, and “Tonz ‘O Gunz” with Smif ‘n Wessun, Chong managed to break new heat with the best of them!
Well, he’s back (bitches) and for good reason. Chong had been responsible for bringing The Jacka to the attention of many fans in the mid-2000s and with his passing earlier this year, Chong felt it only right to tribute The Bay Area icon.
