Crooked I Announces His Departure From Rap Group Slaughterhouse

Slaughterhouse was undoubtedly one of the greatest hip hop supergroups in recent times. Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9″, Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked formed a brotherhood within the group that served us some of the hottest bars in the game. They later went on to pen a deal with Eminem‘s Shady Records. However, it’s been a minute since they’ve done anything together and with that, one fourth of Slaughterhouse has announced that he’s leaving the group indefinitely.

KXNG Crooked took to Instagram to announce his departure from Slaughterhouse. Although there’s no bad blood among any of the members, he has revealed that he won’t be working alongside Budden, Joell Ortiz or Royce in the future as Slaughterhouse. The rapper posted a PSA on Instagram to speak on the situation and made it clear there’s no bad blood among any other members of the crew or Shady.

“Peace all. I got a public service announcement. I’m no longer part of Slaughterhouse. I’m no longer apart of the collective. It ain’t no beef, it’s all love. I wish them dudes nothing but success, I mean that. Ain’t no problems with Shady. I love Shady.” He said, “I’ve been sober for two years. And let me tell you a secret, sober Crook likes to rap. The group ain’t rapping no more and that’s fine, it was fun while it lasted.”

The rapper later confirmed that their album, Glasshouse does exist but he has no idea when or if it’ll ever be released. “If it come out, I’ll retweet it,” he added.
