Hot! C-Murder Facing Civil Trial

Murdered Teens’ Parents Have Filed Suit

Former No Limit Records rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller is currently serving a life sentence, having been found guilty of second degree murder in 2009; but there appears to be more legal trouble on the horizon. New Orleans’ The Times-Picayune reports that Miller will also face a civil trial in the death of Steve Thomas. This trial is the result of a lawsuit filed against C-Murder by Thomas parents.

“A judgment against him in this proceeding is of little consequence to him,” C-Murder’s attorney, Roy Maughan Jr. said. “What can you take from a man who has lost his liberty? He’s lost his liberty. There’s no money to be taken.”

The civil trial will essentially determine if the Thomas’ will be awarded damages and if so, how much.
