East Oakland’s Young Gully drops the official video for Girl With The Tattoo off his critically acclaimed free album HM5, presented by Thizzler On The Roof. The third video of a 4 part storyline that started with Talk 2 You and continued with Diamonds, GWTT finds Gully arguing with his girlfriend (played by Xochi) on his way to retaliate for a friend’s death. Directed by Cool Cass & produced by Mistah Blinks, the video is a heart wrenching, regret filled portrait of a hustler who knows he’s doing wrong and a woman who has to make a difficult choice.
“I always wanna give people something to relate to,” says Gully, “Everybody goes through relationships and they get rocky… I wanted to show people that in my life I’ve had those problems too and even lost the battle time and time again.”
