The “yike” movement has been in full effect in Northern California for a while now and has received worldwide attention since Sage The Gemini’s “Gas Pedal” and “Red Nose” records blew up (now ceritfied Platinum and Gold, respectively).
99 Percent, consisting of Camoflage & JB, is a duo from Vallejo, CA. They landed a smash hit of their own with “Yike In It“, which has accumulated 2.5 million views on YouTube. The official video to the song premiered on TheFader.com today and the duo went all out – llamas, a ratchet grandma, parrots and of course, lots of butts. It was shot in Berkeley CA by Suj, who also shot the “Red Nose” and “Gas Pedal” videos.
