New York rapper 50 Cent has found himself in trouble with the law as he has been hit with a domestic violence charge after an alleged fight with his ex-girlfriend.
According to TMZ, 50 Cent has been charged with domestic violence and vandalism after the rapper allegedly kicked his second child’s mother and destroyed property in her Los Angeles condo last month.
50 Cent has never publicly acknowledged having a second child, but the woman accusing the rapper of domestic violence is his second child’s mother, Daphne Joy, who dated the rapper for 3 years, as they seemingly got together around 2010-2011.
The report states, after the altercation, LAPD officers were called to the scene of the incident, and Joy told the officers that she got into an altercation with 50 and ended up locking herself in the bedroom.
As a result of locking herself in the bedroom, 50 got upset and kicked the door down, and kicked her, which resulted in her injury.
The rapper is also accused of destroying property in Joy’s condo; items that include chandeliers, furniture, a TV and a lamp.
50 left the condo before police arrive, but as a result of alleged rampage, the rapper has been hit with 5 charges that include 1 of count misdemeanor domestic violence and 4 counts of misdemeanor vandalism.
50 Cent is slated to appear in court to be arraigned on July 22nd, and is facing up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.
