40 Glocc breaks his silence on the controversial lawsuit with fellow west coast native The Game, claiming that he needs to “get paid to entertain.”
The Game and 40 Glocc made media headlineswhen the BWS head honcho posted a video of himself beating 40 Glocc up through the streets, all while recording on his iPhone with the other hand.
The video instantly went viral, and The Game claimed he did it to retaliate for the time 40 Glocc and his “goons” ran up on Lil Wayne when he came through the area.
Now 40 Glocc has filed a $4.5 million lawsuit against The Game, causing plenty of people to criticize him. 40 has addressed the lawsuit in a recent interview with DJ Vlad, stating that he is just “doing his part” by filing a lawsuit.
“As far as the lawsuit, I looked at it as what he did. He didn’t do that as no street shit. I looked at it more of he did it as an entertainment purpose,” 40 Glocc continued. “So if it’s an entertainment purpose, ‘Hey, I’m an entertainer. I get paid to entertain.’ You made that fake ass movie, and made a fake ass edit. Lied about everything that took part, but you did it to assassinate me. And as an entertainer I’m like I get compensated. You know I do movies. I done did movies, films, TV, videos. So I get paid to entertain on that side of it. And at the same time I seen it as like if that was some real shit and it wasn’t entertainment purposes, you wouldn’t have recorded no shit like that and put it out for that because that’s like letting the authorities know.”
