This #teamfillmoe idea was birthed from the simple idea of "stoping the violence." A coming together in peace and uniting as one in a violence conflicted district. It was dreamed about by one individual ( SLO-O & LUUCI creator of #TeamFillmoe) who decided to take action and execute his idea of one greater district- Fillmore aka Fillmoe as one with the help of Laron Mayfield(MOBETTA ENTERTAINMENT), BIG RICH(PROJECT LEVEL)and the STEEZY CARES FOUNDATION. Being an artist himself and knowing the power of music he decided to make a compilation mixtape with up and coming artists from different areas in Fillmoe- who all come together to share their love for music. Fillmoe and it's lyrical artists came together to create a masterpiece of different lifestyles, different points of views; all mixed and infused to one diversely combined mixtape. The #TeamFillmoe Compilation Mixtape drops April 23nd, 2013 with (..featuring.....) SLO-O & LUCCI decided to continue TeamFillmoe Compilations Mixtape with continued Volumes. #TeamFillmoe will be hosting its 2nd Annual "Stop the Violence" BBQ at (location) on April 27th. Last year the BBQ was a success- a non-violent communion of everyone enjoying themselves with good food and good music. We would also like to thank our local home radio station 106.1 KMEL for their support and contribution to our cause in last years BBQ and this upcoming year as well.
Be on the look out for more events, albums, mix tapes and much more from #TeamFillmoe. There is no progress without consistency and no consistency without progress. Change can began here and now from one individual to another- a journey to a piece of mind, a change of heart, a chain of actions and reactions that will one day eventually change our world "stopping the violence" in full affect one person at a time...and may the love & peace continue always!
