Im a book reader and I was never a fan of Stannis. I do understand why people liked him though - he was the rightful heir to the crown. He was truly only concerned with what is "right" (following the laws, enforcing them, etc.). I just didn't really like the guy. He had some good lines in the book and was better. But I understand why the show downplayed him a bit when the true story was always going to be about Jon and Khaleesi, Starks and Targarians, Ice and Fire.

Anyways, what do people think Tyrion was worried about during the boat sex scene? He was standing outside the room for a minute, looking concerned.

I read someone bring up a good point, and I remembered the last thing he said to Cersei. She was basically saying fuck off the entire time he was there, trying to convince her to agree to the truce and send her army north to fight the dead. Then suddenly he said "you're pregnant", the cameras cut, and next we see Cersei suddenly has a change of heart. So the thought is that perhaps Tyrion offered an agreement to Cersei, that her child could be the heir to Dany after Dany dies, since she can't have children. Makes sense since the last episode Tyrion was so concerned with the succession of the throne, should Dany die, and Cersei was really hammering home how much the Lannister family meant to her. So when Tyrion later saw that they were smashing, he got worried that maybe she will have kids after all, this fucking up the agreement he made with Cersei.

But the only thing with this is Cercei reneged on the deal anyways, so it probably doesn't matter. And of course I suspected she was faking the pregnancy, to control Jamie.

I was thinking after that maybe he offered himself, knowing that Cersei hates him so bad and wants nothing more than his head on a plate. But that wouldn't explain why the concern of the sex.

Stannis was written by GRRM to clearly be a very bad leader. He was never supposed to be a fan favorite. He's the morally unyielding guy who upholds the law at the expense of doing the right thing. If the law says rape is okay, and his daughter gets gangraped by 15 people, he'd be like "nothing wrong happened." If the law says jaywalkers get executed, he wouldn't feel bad about killing his own wife for crossing during a redlight. Fuck that guy.

Dany's entire arc this season was Stannis' in book 3.

Cathedral of Girona - Great Sept of Baelor in King's Landing

Old Town

Altho they used a lot of ally's for old town , not only in Girona I believe

Banys Àrabs, where Arya is trying to hide while fleeing from the waif

Monastery of Sant Pere de Gallivants - citadel in Oldtown

Sadly this was closed for the day so I only have some shots of the outside, in game of thrones they filmed the inside.

The old part of Girona is amazing, what would it be a nice job to scout for film locations for series or movies like this.
There is a lot more to see and obvious a lot of history, if you are ever in the area it's well worth a visit. I only spend a day and a half here basically but I think I will return a few times.

prop for the effort

read that the show aint coming back till 2019
Sucks man. They needed extra time to finish writing the story, fucking GRRM man. The final six episodes will be crazy though, essentially like a short movie each episode.

Westworld returns in 2018 at least.

Also a new series called Glare by JJ Abrams, a Sci-Fi drama exploring the colonization of another planet.

Who Fears Death (2018 or 2019)
Post-Apocalyptic Drama Set At HBO With George R.R. Martin & Michael Lombardo Producing. HBO has closed deals for Who Fears Death, a drama series in development, which will be executive produced by Game Of Thrones' George R.R. Martin and former HBO President Michael Lombardo.

Lovecraft Country
Adaptation of the novel, with Jordan Peele and J. J. Abrams as executive producers and Misha Green as showrunner. Lovecraft Country is a 2016 dark fantasy horror novel by Matt Ruff, exploring the conjunction between the horror fiction of H. P. Lovecraft and racism in the United States during the era of Jim Crow laws, as experienced by black science-fiction fan Atticus Turner and his family. It was published by HarperCollins.

Episode 1: 10/10
Episode 2: 10/10
Episode 3: 10/10

Everyone who enjoys the show is just going on with their lives, being satisfied and happy. Online discussion is mostly for the miserable who want to pick apart everything and criticize and be negative nancys lol. Nothing will be good enough for them so fuck it, I decided at the beginning of the season to ignore online discussion.
