the GOAT of our generation for sure

Pryor was the GOAT of the 70s but a lot of his shit sounds dated and irrelevent if you listen to it now

I'm just glad Netflix/Chappelle kept their promise of 3 specials in 2017

Chappelle is top 10 all time. Top 5 if you're only counting our generation, like 1990+

Doug Stanhope might be my favorite all time from our generation.

Chappelle, Chris Rock, Bill Burr, and Louis CK round out the top 5 of our generation to me.

My favorite OG's off all time which I think are higher up on the GOAT list than Chappelle are Bill Hicks and George Carlin.

He is my favorite. Im not deep into standup to qualify if hes the goat or not. But from my perspective, hes my favorite. I also like Ralphie May, who doesnt seem to be as well regarded. But he was funny to me

burr, chappelle, regan, gaffigan, rock, katt before the breakdown, carlin, too many good comdians to name. hicks was good but too preachy and 'talk at you' at times. louis ck has his moments but overall is kinda bland to me

Anthony Jeselnik on Netflix had me dying...Cedric the Entertainer on Netflix was pretty good as well(surprisingly)

Jim Norton is pretty damn funny too aside from the weird shit he talks about.(transgender shit, diccs)

There's a new dude Felipe Esparza who's kinda funny.

Felipe Esparza - Fight (Funny Videos) - YouTube
I saw him a couple of times around the 2004-2007 timeframe. It was in a restaurant that hosted a comedy night every Wednesday. Only about 20 people would show up, so it was usually a real up-close and personal experience. Most of those comedians would know your name by the end of the show since the crowd was so small. Cool story, bro.

Your boy Faizon Love from Southeast Dago Doesn't seem to think so, lol...

Faizon Love Says “F*** Judd Apatow” and Dave Chappelle Isn’t The King of Comedy - YouTube

@ 22:28 mark.

Whole interview is funny though . Sway lightweight stood his ground/ kept his same energy.
Sorry, but Faizon comes off as uninformed and quite frankly like a hater. Manufactured? Bruh, Dave had to TRY OUT FOR THOSE PARTS. The fuck??

Maybe he need to sit down and listen to Dave's most recent special to find out WHY he stepped away for so long.

Most definitely HATING. He said Chapelle was good, but not equal to the amount of money he got from Netflix. Blame netflix dog. Hate the game not the player---hater.

He also tried to say that The Chapelle show owes its stature to Charlie Murphy's writing, that the first season was no good and had no memorable sketches. (Charlemagne dropped the ball and couldn't name any.)
