After years of prayer, it feels like it is finally time to start my own boxing ministry. We are starting small but I am waiting to hear about whether or not I'll be able to use this community center place that this church built over here to hopefully teach these kids some boxing.
A lot of stuff involved with starting something like this but in a round about way, I was introduced to boxing through a similar program so it feels good to be able to return that gift to these kids.
I also encourage you guys to find a local gym and try and help. Not everyone understands boxing well enough to teach it to someone else but gyms are full of kids that could be getting themselves into a lot of trouble if they weren't in a place like a gym occupying their time. If you think you don't have time, you're lying to yourself.
