This should be fun. We can bump it at the end of the year. See who was right, who was off and who should be laughed at lol.

Post whatever comes to mind regarding either boxing or mma.

Now I've looked into my boxing crystal ball and I don't like everything that I see, but I'll type it out anyway:

-Gary Russell Jr. will have a big year and will crack the top 15 pound 4 pound.

-Cuba will have a horrible year unfortunately. Gamboa will suffer his first defeat and it wont be at the hands of Broner. Rigondeaux vs Donaire will happen (and Donaire will win). Lara will continue to be pushed to the side and ignored.

-Pacquiao will return at the end of the year and beat a decent opponent, but suffering a knockdown scare early in the fight. He will not fight Marquez in 2013.

-By the end of 2013, people will consider Deontay Wilder as a legit heavyweight challenger.

-Bernard Hopkins will break his own record of the oldest person in history to win a major belt. He will do something even more shocking by wisely retiring after.

-Timothy Bradley will still be searching for a "big fight".

-Sergio Marinez vs Chavez II will NOT happen. Chavez will have a catch weight fight between 160 & 168 with a lower level 168 pound fighter, such as Kelly Pavlik or Abraham. He will look decent, nothing more.

-Golovkin vs Peter Quillin will fight at the end of the year in an absolute war with both men touching the canvas. Golovkin wins by TKO10.

-After the Golovkin fight, Lou DiBella will be quoted saying, "Who the fuck is Golovkin?!"

-James Kirkland will return mid to late 2013 with a new trainer and new promoters, only to lose to a journeyman.

-Broner will fight 3 times in 2012, winning all of them, two at 135 against decent opponents and one at 140 at the end of the year.

-Marquez will not retire. He will take a tune up fight or two and agree to fight Pacquiao early 2014.

-Khan will get KO'd, once again by the hands of Garcia at the end of the year.

-Floyd will take in around $80 million dollars fighting Guerrero in a classic and Canelo in a fairly easy and not too interesting fight. He will contemplate retiring.

-The WBC will create two new belts - "Heart of the Kingdom Ruby belt" and the "Intercontinental Pacific-Asian-Mexican-American emerald belt".

CANELO will give trout a reality check then shock the world and be the first to hand the p4p #1 boxer in the world aka the ppv king floyd his first L. Obviously these fights have to happen for this to go down, the way these boxing promoters/managers are doing business now it makes it tough for these fights to happen.

Hector Lombard fights Anderson Silva for MW title and gets KO'd in first round

Rory Macdonald becomes WW number 1 contender and despite saying he would never fight GSP, takes big pay day to do so. (assuming GSP beats Nick Diaz of course)

Eddie Alvarez wins in court against Bellator, finally gets in the UFC and fights the long wanted fight against Gilbert Melendez near the end of 2013.....and loses

Johny Hendricks beats Ellenberger and gets put in a fight with Carlos Condit with the stipulation that if he wins he gets a shot at the title, Condit proceeds to destroy him

Rampage Jackson leaves the UFC back in his old form with a KO over Glover Teixeira, signs with Bellator for big money for their push on SpikeTV.

Alexander Gustafsson gets title shot vs. Jon Jones near end of 2013, proceeds to get destroyed and finished via submission.

Cris "Cyborg" Santos never signs with the UFC due to not wanting to get off the juice to lose the weight to make 135, signs with InvictaFC, pops hot for steroids again.

Jose Aldo after defeating Frank Edgar decides to vacate the FW title to make a run at LW. Gets immediate title shot vs. Benson Henderson and loses by decision.

Frank Mir comes back from injury to welcome back the long awaited return to the UFC of Josh Barnett, Barnett wins via submission.

Tyrone Spong goes undefeated in MMA on smaller shows in 2013, signs deal with UFC at the very end of the year

MMA

Overeem will become heavyweight champ by the end of 2013.

Rampage will upset Glover.

The winner of Cowboy/Pettis will also beat Bendo and become champ by end of 2013.

Cyborg will beat Ronda Rousey and become UFC females champ by end of 2013.

Boxing

Broner will become a champ at 140 by end of 2013.

Khan will become champ again by end of 2013.

Fuck it, Trout will beat Canelo if they fight May 4th and thats why GB dont wanna make the fight.

Donaire is gonna truck Rigondeaux very quick!

However Mares would beat Donaire however the fight wont be made atleast not in 2013.

Manny/Cotto 2 will happen as both need a tune up fight but neither is a tune up. Get it?

Thats it for now. Got Em!!

Mares will continue to beat the best opponents available and still not get a Donaire fight.

TR and GBP will claim to have a resolution to their feud and put on a card, only to have it blow up again by the end of the year.

50 Cent will sign at least one more notable fighter.

Gamboa will fight twice this year, once in a boring fight, once in a life and death loss or controversial victory.

Broner meets with an accident from someone that can handle his power and keep coming forward. He leaves his mouth open, someone's gonna break that jaw.

Victor Ortiz comes back this year, everyone will hate on him but will definitely watch it.

Berto fights for another title against someone that people don't care about. (now that I think about it, that's a safe prediction).

Cotto will fight someone for an interim title or some bullcrap that people also don't care about. Probably also announces that he's gay with his homeboy that lost all the weight.

Guerrero gets frustrated and fouls Mayweather multiple times, or at least gets warned to the extent that he loses points on the scorecards. Mayweather lands too often with straight rights for Ghost to win on the cards, but roughs Mayweather up and lines himself up for another decent opponent after people fall in love with his story via 24/7.

Canelo/Mayweather is lined up yet somehow Mayweather finds a reason not to fight him after Canelo punishes Trout in a better-than-expected fight. Mayweather finds excuses not to fight him and this becomes a new topic/controversy. Floyd fights once in 2013 and talks about how he doesn't need to prove anything else about his legacy.

Martinez struggles in his comeback. Chavez is banned for 6 months to a year, so people beg for a fight with Golovkin but it doesn't happen. But if it did, Golovkin taxes Martinez. THEN when Chavez returns, he moves up to 168.

Gary Russell Jr.'s career is f'd off with more unusually poor handling from a Al Haymon fighter. Fights a decent opponent on HBO for the first time and maybe picks up a belt.

Some great matchups happen on Friday Night fights that people don't expect much out of. Showtime will again trump HBO in terms of great action fights.

Santa Cruz will fight again on CBS and will be a hot topic because of it, win or lose.

Boxing will be on network tv at least 3 more times this year.

Most importantly, boxing will be talked about more and more this year in major media outlets. Be prepared to hear the sport butchered up by the media that doesn't know what they're talking about.

Floyd fights once twice in 2013, The Ghost and winner of Trout/Canelo match. He loses both and retires screaming "Im rich and I don't give a fuck!"

Pacquiao is defeated again by KO. Retires.

Broner is champ at 140 by September 2013. He TKO's each opponent in 2013.

Victor Ortiz makes a comeback and win's his first bout easily. 2nd bout his jaw is broken again, and considers retirement.

Khan is KO'd by Garcia in 3rd Round of their rematch. Khan again blames his trainer.

Rios fights Matthysee in a FOY candidate. Maytthysee win's split decision. Both are chink-eyed at end of fight.

Bradley doesn't find a worthy opponent and slips into depression asking himself..."but i beat Pacquiao.......didn't I??"

Canelo beats Trout. Silence's critics. Fight Mayweather, who much like ODLH toward the end of his career takes fights just for the money and punishes MM a whole 10 rounds before MM doesn't come out of corner. (sound familiar?)

Chavez Jr. regains some footing in the boxing world and rematches Martinez for his 2nd fight in 2013, but Martinez defeats Chavez Jr in similar fashion. Chavez retires to work for the Sinaloa Cartel.
