Floyd was retired and only cared about a possible money fight, Crawford isn't a money fight. Floyd is 40 years old, he doesn't care about rankings and contenders lol

The fight is a joke, but it's gonna do a half a billion dollars in business.

lol that might be the worst headline ever

like MMA fans are all 100% life or death for Conor McGregor and will all kill themselves if he loses lol

What's funny is most MMA fans on places like Sherdog, the UG and reddit are laughing at this fight and calling it a joke like everybody else.

You must hate that $100.

Floyd better put Gervonta Davis on the undercard in a dope fight. I can't knock them getting that money though. If people are willing to pay for it then by all means make it happen..
$100 on the amateur boxer versus one of the greatest boxers of all time? lol

I've heard several people quite a few actually say that this is one of the greatest mockeries the sport has ever seen. To that I say really? George Foreman fought Five Guys in one night. Ali fought that Japanese dude who laid on his back the entire fight kicking Ali's legs. Larry Holmes fought Butterbean. The WBA has two sometimes three Champions per weight class. Robberies are common. Refs paid off. I've seen a promoter in Germany literally ring the bell to save his fighter from being knocked out to end the round early. And this is one of the greatest mockeries ever? It's going to generate like half a billion dollars. If there's a demand for a fight fuck it make it happen.

Yeah I've been seeing that greatest mockery nonsense too. There's a million examples of ridiculous shit that's happened in boxing that don't bring in this much money.

This isn't even the first ridiculous boxing debut. Pete Rademacher made his debut fighting Floyd Patterson for the heavyweight title and not when Floyd was an old man either.

I just hope Floyd uses it to Gervonta in a solid fight to get his name out there and I guess Badou Jack in a LHW fight hopefully not against a scrub.

LMAO they actually had to add to the contract that Conor would lose his money if he tried any "MMA moves" during the fight.

Conor McGregor facing hefty lawsuits if he tries MMA moves vs. Floyd Mayweather - CBSSports.com
Of course. It would be idiotic not to. It not, McGregor could do a round house kick out of no where first round, KO Floyd, and walk away with $100m while getting all the praise for "trolling" Floyd/Boxing/whoever is promoting the show? Why wouldn't he do that if no repercussions? Oh he would get a DQ on his boxing record? Get suspended for boxing? lol. He would only be praised by his fans. Floyd is smarter than that and it's something anyone should do in the same position.
