What Pacman fans are gonna say is that Floyd lost cuz when he really had a chance to beat Manny, it was 5 years ago. If Floyd wins, it's cuz he is swallowing that Ariza juice.

The opponent for Leo Santa Cruz is set - Zsolt Bedak. Zsolt Bedak is a Hungarian fighter with a padded record - 24-1 - by beating a bunch of nobodies. The best name on his resume is Wilfredo Vazquez Jr, who knocked him out.

Abner Mares said he was ready to fight Santa Cruz on three weeks notice, LSC rejected it and went with Zsolt.

Another weak ass fight for Cruz. Why does this guy keep getting big paydays and great dates fighting such sorry opposition? He's not even popular.

Can any spanish speaking sicc goons confirm this? They saying Mares made Leo Santa Cruz his bitch:

Mares and santa Cruz were on the radio with piolin (spanish) today
Mares kept telling santa cruz he would drop down to 122 and fight him on may 2nd and all santa cruz was doing was making excuses.

Leo said he does whatever haymon tells him to do.

Then Mares was saying that's not true, that Haymon gives you a list of names and the fighter is the one that picks. And then he said he doesn't have to ask haymon for permission to fight. Nobody does, mares said haymon works for the boxer. Leo said he will fight him in about two fights.

mares got pissed and said he asked haymon to get him Gary russell, johnny or lamachenko. mares was kinda making leo sound scared after he ran out of excuses.

Podcast gona be up manana great interview. Santa sounds just as dumb in English as he does in spanish

The conversation with Mares and Santa Cruz starts at around 35:22.

I was wondering about the "Al Haymon" excuse that was going on for awhile...maybe someone can shed some light. If Adrien Broner wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao for the biggest payday of his life...let's say $5 million and this was taking place before we even knew Mayweather vs Pacquiao was ever going to happen...put it around January 2015 would Al Haymon step in and say, "No" to Broner? Then offer Broner a $1 million dollar "safe" fight. I don't see Adrien going for that...and I don't see Al blocking a big fight especially not with Haymon's other fighter Amir Khan who had been calling out Pacquiao regardless of him (Amir) being with Haymon.

It's difficult to say. I mean a Pacquiao fight is probably something else you know....that's huge. What we have seen is stuff like Peter Quillin having to drop his title and pass on a career high $1.4 million dollar payday, just for an easy mandatory. So I'm sure like everything in life there are many factors.

Floyd has hand picked all of his opponents his whole career, why do u think hes undefeated still?!,lol...this fight was cuz it had to happen,...floyd always hides and runs and u cant do that when u got someone like manny coming at you,..and if floyds gonna come at manny hes gonna have to expose himself,...Manny will use the southpaw style like he did on Cotto and leave his face like he did cotto!.....De la HOya, Cotto and a few others were all taller then manny and he mowed them all down,..Floyd will be the next one!..i just hope its not a fucking draw so they can bank once, and then bank again twice, i have a feeling theyre gonna soak the shit out of it,...but i also heard there wouldnt be a rematch,..who knows,....we shall see!

Mannys camp was scared to fight Mosley and Cotto in like 2006/2007. They waited till there was obvious decline or in Cottos case taking loaded gloves to the face for 10 rounds and was not the same for a while after that. Mannys camp also made catch weights to drain Mannys opponents including you guessed it Cotto. You want to be biased fine. Two can play that game. Its funny how this freaken guy never mentions Marquez once. Just to let you know Mayweather is gonna punish Manny everytime he comes in reckless just like Marquez punished Manny. De La Hoya was old as dirt when fought Manny lol i cant believe anyone would brag about that fight.

And with the ultimate finisher, noones had no where near the hand speed Mayweather has that were "taller" then Manny

This is so fucking inaccurate. When Cotto fought Margarito, Pacquiao had just MOVED UP in weight to 135 pounds from 130 pounds. No one ever thought Pacquiao would ever be a welterweight at that time and never even thought Cotto could ever be a potential opponent. After Pacquiao beat Diaz, Larry Merchant had the crazy idea of Pacquiao fighting Oscar, and then the idea came into a reality. For that fight, Pacquiao only weighed in at 142 pounds, and the thought was it was going to be a one time thing just because it was Oscar and a super fight, and Pacquiao was too small for the division. Immediately after, Pacquiao decided to campaign at 140 pounds and worked out a deal to fight Ricky Hatton. During this time, Cotto fought and beat Jennings and Joshua Clottey.

After Pacquiao destroyed Ricky Hatton, winning the lineal 140 title, Pacquiao was then considering fighting the big named title holders at 147, to win another belt in yet another division. The two options were Shane Mosley who was with Golden Boy and Miguel Cotto who was with Top Rank. The in-house Top Rank fight of Pacquiao vs Cotto was obviously far more lucrative, being that Cotto was, and still probably is, the third biggest name in boxing. The result was a huge success, selling over 1.25 million PPV buys. Given this information, it's quite obvious why Pacquiao vs Cotto made sense and happened when it did (it certainly couldn't have happened any sooner being that Pacquiao was at 130/135 pounds!).

Further, if you're going to use this kind of logic, it should be used against Floyd. Floyd didn't fight Cotto when Cotto was undefeated. Floyd didn't fight Cotto when they were both welterweight champions. Floyd didn't fight Cotto in his prime. Floyd fought Cotto after Cotto had lost to Margarito and Pacquiao, and was considered well past his best days.

The one fight that would and should be used in Floyd's favor is Shane Mosley. Floyd fought Mosley when Mosley was champ and coming off a great win over Margarito. Pacquiao fought Mosley when Mosley was looking like shit and was a total waste of everyone's time. But as far as Pacquiao vs Cotto goes, it was a great win for Pacquiao, one of his best performances of his career and he did so moving up in weight.

Mannys camp also made catch weights to drain Mannys opponents including you guessed it Cotto. You want to be biased fine. Two can play that game.
Cotto wasn't drained losing one pound for Pacquiao. Cotto also has had catchweight fights himself against Margarito II, Sergio Martinez and now Daniel Geale (157). Likewise, Mayweather has had catchweight fights against Marquez and Canelo. It's part of the sport. A one or two pounds is no big deal, anything more is pushing it (157 for Geale is kind of rough, Oscar making Hopkins fight at 157 as well (Hopkins actually weighed 156 just to prove a point)).

You conviently left out the fact the Cotto Manny fight was at 145. Thats total bullshit. We all know Cotto should have never moved up to 154 so I could care less what happened at those weights. I explained to Heresy that Floyd ducked Cotto. Still ur not gonna tell me Mannys camp didnt see a wounded animal so thats indeed why Manny fought Cotto when he did. Roach also admitted he didnt want anything to do with Mosley so theres nothing that u can hide there.

Mannys whole run at 147 for a while was getting some upperhand on fighters going into the fight and no u shouldn't be able to win the 154 belt at a catchweight of 150
